We at Ketubah.com have long been big fans of Smashing the Glass, one of the most in-depth and visually appealing Jewish Wedding blogs in the world. STG cover every cutting edge trend, feature lots of real weddings, have the biggest list of amazing vendors, and they’ve got the best advice for planning and perfecting the event.
Since we’re such big fans, and also since we’re all in this together, we thought this week’s blog post could celebrate one of our favourite websites and highlight exactly what makes them so special!

In 2013 Karen Cinnamon, a UK-based designer, was getting married. She soon discovered that there was no single website where she could find everything she’d need for a stylish Jewish wedding—especially the more modern, innovative, and creative elements.
Karen’s experiences planning her own wedding inspired her to create Smashing the Glass, a blog where readers could find everything she couldn’t. Guided by her expert design and branding experience, it attracted a huge following in no time and it’s now the place for finding Jewish wedding inspiration.

Since 2013, Smashing the Glass has grown to become the biggest online destination for anyone interested in Jewish weddings, and a starting point for brides that can guide them through the planning, connect them with stories from other weddings, and even one on one planning sessions.
In 2018, Smashing the Glass launched the Brides Club, which offers exclusive discounts with many of Karen’s hand-chosen, favorite wedding vendors. Since we’ve been working with them since 2017, the Brides Club includes a 10% discount with us!
Love Papercut | Melissa & William
Smashing the Glass recently created a super informative and useful guide for anyone getting married in 2020, which has advice for those who planned to be married in the next 8 weeks, as well as from June to December 2020. They’ve also posted about vendors coming together during the global pandemic, and what they’re doing to help people during this time—we’re honored to be mentioned among great companies.
