Description
This Ketubah is printed on exquisite Japanese washi paper embedded with silk threads. A Feast of All Your Hours celebrates the joys of wine, gardens, music and friends, inspired by verses from a poem by medieval Sephardic scholar and poet, Dunash ben Labrat inscribed around the border of your ketubah text. There came a voice, Awake! Drink wine at morning’s break. ‘Mid rose and camphor make A feast of all your hours… Where lilting singers hum To the throbbing of the drum, Where gentle viols thrum To the plash of fountains’ showers… We’ll drink on garden beds With roses round our heads. To banish woes and dreads We’ll frolic and carouse. Flowers domestic and tropical burst from the text, mingled with the grapes and hops that provide the wine and beer, bring to mind great celebrations and simpler good times with friends. My signature honeybee, resting on a lily stem at top left, joins the party. The bright plants also witness fundamental Jewish values: the pink lilies relate to a rabbinic legend about the value of the Ten Commandments in the imperfect human world, while grapes symbolize the wine with which Jewish tradition sanctifies your wedding and nearly every sacred moment. Our paper ketubahs (papercut ketubahs included) are printed on cold press, acid free art paper, the standard in artistic reproductions. This paper is slightly textured and can be ordered with or without name printing.
Canvas ketubahs have a glossy look with texture and shine. The canvas can be framed behind glass or can be stretched by a framer. Our canvas ketubahs require name printing.
We offer the canvas stretching feature in house as well. When ordered this way, the ketubah is stretched by hand on a specially built frame in a style known as gallery wrap and comes ready to hang complete with a wire at the back.

Debra Band
Debra Band holds an M.A. in political science from MIT, and a B.A. honors degree in history (with a minor is studio art). Her Ketubot and Judaic artwork draw on her love of Jewish tradition and learning. Her work is informed by her extensive study of Jewish texts and research into medieval European and Middle Eastern painting and manuscripts. Having lived in many places across North America, Debra now lives on the West Coast with her husband, sons and considerable menagerie.

First choose your art design including, the color, the size and print stock you want. Then you need to choose the specific text you want from the ketubah text section. If you’re not sure which text you want, please discuss the options with your officiant as they will be the best person to advise you on the text category to suit your needs.
You will also need to decide if you want the text personalized (filled in by us) or unpersonalized (filled in by hand after you receive it). This is another good question for your officiant prior to ordering.
Following your order we will send you a confirmation email with further instructions for each text option you select. For example, for personalized texts there is a form that you will need to fill out and submit before the order goes out to the artist. After your form has been submitted, we’ll have the artist prepare and send you a proof to review. Rest assured, we won’t print the ketubah until it’s been fully approved by your self and the nominated officiant.
Unpersonalized orders are shipped out as soon as they are ready, without a proof.
We also offer custom text options.
No wedding is too soon! While ordering 4-5 weeks in advance gives you the most options, if your timing is short, we have hundreds of beautiful Artisan Print Ketubahs that you can receive within days if needed.
Unpersonalized ketubahs are generally shipped out within 1-2 weeks. Most ketubahs with personalized text ship out in approximately 4-5 weeks, but we can accommodate rush orders if needed.
Ketubahs that require hand finishes, such as Layered, Gold Leaf and Luxe Ketubahs, need a bit more preparation time, especially during busy season. If your wedding is around the corner, or if you are having a destination wedding, please get in touch with us as soon as possible to discuss the options for a rush order.
Be advised that during our busy season we have to take into account wedding dates and ensure everyone gets their ketubah in time for their wedding. Production times might be longer for some orders regardless of personalization. We send proofs on all Personalized (and custom text) Ketubahs with the names, date and place of the wedding filled in by us. If you order an Unpersonalized Ketubah and did not ask for any edits to the wording, you will not receive a proof.
Yes. At the end of the Personalization Form, you’ll have the option to either submit the form to us, or forward it to your officiant. Click the latter option, and you’ll be able to send them the form to review. Once they submit the form, we’ll be able to prepare a text proof and send it to both of you to review.
Print stock refers to what we print your ketubah on. Many of our designs are available on paper, canvas, or stretched canvas. The paper is a fine-textured, high quality art paper. Colors have a matte finish. Our canvas ketubahs are printed on canvas, with a more luminous finish. Colors on canvas seem brighter and more vibrant. The Stretched Canvas is perfect for if you want to have the canvas wrapped around a wooden frame, so that it can be displayed at the wedding and ready to hang on your wall.
Personalized text means our artist will fill in your names, date and place of the wedding within the text itself. The unpersonalized text option means the text will have some spaces within it, and someone else will be filling the information for you after you receive it. Keep in mind that the signature lines are left blank in both options. We strongly advise you confirm with the officiant before ordering unpersonalized text as they might have a preference on this.
If you have a Hebrew name, but don’t know how to write it in Hebrew, then you can visit HebrewNamer.com to find the correct spelling. Hebrew Namer is a valuable resource for learning about your names, how to spell them correctly, and different variations on the name. In order to ensure that everyone is equally represented on the Ketubah, we offer to transliterate the names of anyone who doesn’t have a Hebrew name. This means writing their English name in Hebrew letters. This ensures that there are no blank spaces in your text. In the Ketubah Text Tool, where it asks for your Hebrew name, write your name in English letters. If no Hebrew equivalent name shows up, there should be an option that says, “My name was not found, please write it for me.” Click that button, and when the form is submitted, we’ll know you want that name transliterated into Hebrew.
We recommend a micro-pigment pen with archival ink. But don’t worry about having to find one – we’ll send you a pen that’s perfect for signing along with your Ketubah! If you want extra pens for backups, most stationary stores will stock the same item.
No. Our Stretched Canvas ketubahs come stretched around a wooden frame, but apart from that, we recommend taking your Ketubah to a local framer to have it properly framed with a variety of colors and materials to highlight the beauty of your ketubah.
If you want to add extra Witness signature lines or make minor adjustments to certain words in the text, we can make these changes. After you place your order, email us with your Order Number in the subject line of the email, and make the request. We’ll let you know if there are any issues with the request, or if the changes are extensive enough to warrant additional charges.
We want to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we offer a straightforward return policy to make the process as easy as possible.
Our return policy is as follows:
You may return any unused and undamaged items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (minus shipping). If you ordered a personalized Ketubah, we do require a retention fee of $35. Also, digital DIY ketubahs are non refundable. Thank you for your understanding. Please reach out to us via email and we’ll send you instructions on what to do next in order to receive your refund.
We accept Mastercard and Visa. Please note that some VisaDebit cards will not be accepted (this varies depending on the individual bank).
All our Ketubahs are shipped with UPS. Our Ketubahs are shipped rolled in a protective box, and some will ship in a flatter box if rolling it would otherwise damage it . If you need to know the specifics for your design, feel free to reach out to our Customer Service team. Some designs are shipped flat and might not be suitable for air travel if you plan a destination wedding (including the Luxe collection, layered and stretched canvas ketubahs).
Most definitely! In order for us to get a new ketubah to you in time for your wedding we will simply need the new wedding date confirmed 30 days before the wedding. Please reach out to our customer service team so we can determine the best way to get you a corrected Ketubah. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page. Note – Please do not discard your ketubah before speaking to a Ketubah.com representative. Some elements of the Ketubah can be utilized again and this will make the process of replacing your ketubah more efficient and less expensive.
