The Hamsa, is thought to bring good luck and happiness. In this painting, G-d’s protective hand, radiates movement and and seems to emanate warmth from the central image of the sun. The juxtaposition of traditional Jewish symbols, is incorporated into a dynamic modern stained glass design.
Our paper ketubahs (papercut ketubahs included) are printed on cold press, acid free art paper, the standard in artistic reproductions. This paper is slightly textured and can be ordered with or without name printing.

Four separate copies of the artwork are created and each layer is cut with extreme precision to create four intricate and distinct levels. A special adhesive and foam boarding is used to separate the levels, creating a layered, multidimensional effect. Please note that 3 weeks are required for the production of this Ketubah.

About the Artist
Lori Loebelsohn is an artist and an educator. She specializes in creating paintings that mark life’s sacred occasions such as B’nai Mitzvahs, weddings and other rites of passage. She has just completed a series of ketubahs that depict symbolic imagery and universal themes. Lori studied painting at the Cooper Union and Parsons School of Design. Based in New Jersey, Lori has also illustrated adult and children’s books and has created paintings for numerous private clients.
