Nurture and Protect for Conservative/ Lieberman Couples
Description
The Conservative Lieberman text is a traditional text, written in Aramaic (which is a Semitic language closely related to Modern Hebrew) and is written on this document using Hebrew letters. Similar to the Orthodox text, here the groom undertakes certain commitments to take care of his wife during the marriage and includes certain financial obligations to ensure that she will be taken care of in the event that their marriage is dissolved. The main difference between the two texts is the addition of the Lieberman Clause by the Conservative Movement. This clause allows either spouse to initiate a dissolution of the marriage and thus provides added protection for women entering marriage.
This text is offered with an English portion that is not a translation of the Conservative Aramaic text. Rather, the English portion is a reform text, consisting of modern, poetic vows between the bride and the groom.

Our Font
We have licensed a beautiful font by accomplished ketubah artist Patty Leve. For years Patty has hand-written ketubahs with an exquisite calligraphy that she developed. Her calligraphy was created specifically for the tradition of ketubah design. Now she has made her calligraphic alphabet into a font in both Hebrew and English. Because both language fonts are designed by the same artist, they complement each other perfectly. These fonts add a layer of beauty and artistry to any ketubah. We are proud to use Patty Leve’s fonts for our ketubahs.
