Shin Washi Paper
Art By Temma Gentles
Description
In Japanese and Korean, the Kanji pronounced “shin” has three forms, meaning (L to R): trust, genuine, and heart. Underlying the whole design is the Hebrew letter shin, indicating God’s presence. All of these concepts are at the core of our relationship with our beloved as well as with the divine presence.

Our paper ketubahs (papercut ketubahs included) are printed on cold press, acid free art paper, the standard in artistic reproductions. This paper is slightly textured and can be ordered with or without name printing.
Canvas ketubahs have a glossy look with texture and shine. The canvas can be framed behind glass or can be stretched by a framer. Our canvas ketubahs require name printing.
We offer the canvas stretching feature in house as well. When ordered this way, the ketubah is stretched by hand on a specially built frame in a style known as gallery wrap and comes ready to hang complete with a wire at the back.

Japanese Washi Paper
The ketubahs in this collection are exquisite! The delicate Japanese Washi paper is embedded with silk threads within the paper giving it authentic oriental quality and style. The texture this creates is incredibly fine and crystalline, giving the artwork a speciality and gentle appearance.
