Description
The ketubah text is bordered by paper cut trees which symbolize growth and strength. The poem composed by Judah Halevi in the twelfth century was translated by Emma Lazarus in the nineteenth century. It reads, “Again, my sweet friend, embrace me close. Yes, heaven does bless us and now you have won my love without end.”
