Aliza Donath

Aliza Donath started paper cutting while studying Art and Judaic Studies in Jerusalem, and has been designing Ketubot ever since. Inspired by the intricacy and beauty of the traditional art form, she aims to infuse her work with a combination of classical Jewish imagery, natural forms, and contemporary styles. Aliza earned her BA in Studio Art from Queens College and her MA in Judaic Studies and Arts Education from New York University. Her work has been exhibited in several cities in the United States and appeared in print in the Jewish Comix Anthology in 2014. Aliza works as a paper cut artist, cartoonist, and educator in New York City.
